VCUHS Department of Psychiatry's LGBT Medication Management Clinic specializes in mental health care sensitive to the needs of the LGBT community. New patients must be referred by a licensed therapist. Services are offered every first and third Tuesday of the month at the VCUHS Nelson Clinic, 401 N. 11th St, 828-2000.
Transgender Health
Health Brigade offers medical and behavioral health services to transgender patients. Resources also include LGBTQ Medical, Mental Health, and General Wellness Resource Maps.
Virginia League for Planned Parenthood also offers services in primary care, sexual health, and transgender medicine. The closest location is the Richmond, Near West End Health Center at 201 N. Hamilton St, 804-355-4358.
