SmileWell is a new initiative by VCU Dental that offers affordable quality dental care to uninsured students. For $35 annually, this program provides 100% coverage for preventive care (cleanings and x-rays) and significant discounts on additional services. This is not an insurance plan.
Any VCU student who is uninsured and enrolled in at least 10 credit-hours per semester is eligible for this program. Students can enroll via this google form, after which they will be contacted by VCU Dentistry for more information and scheduling.
Uninsured students taking less than 10 credit-hours per semester can apply for VCU Dental's Student 2 Student Discount Plan, which is another affordable option offered exclusively to college students in Virginia.
VCU Dental Care also offers walk-in urgent care services for new patients Monday-Friday. Click on the link for updated information about eligibility and fees, or call 804-828-9190, option 2.
