The current COVID-19 Community Level in Richmond is LOW.
- Stay up-to-date with COVID vaccines. Isolate and get tested if you have symptoms.
- Community levels are defined by the CDC as low, medium, or high based on hospitalization data and the number of new COVID cases in the area. Community levels are used as a guide to help make personal decisions about which preventive measures to take against COVID.

Monkeypox is a rare contagious rash illness caused by the monkeypox virus. Most people have mild illness, but symptoms can be severe in some cases. Anyone can get monkeypox, though the risk to the general public is currently low.
